Automated ERP-CRM business process integration
A Formation is a feature in SAP Business Technology Platform that enables developers and administrators to automate the integration of multiple systems and services as part of a common business scenario. Using Formations, a developer can group SAP solutions — such as SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Task Center, or SAP Ariba Buying — and configure the necessary integrations between them in an automated way. This reduces the manual effort required to set up cross-system connectivity within the SAP BTP environment.
