Rework Flow Design in Process Automation

A rework flow is a branching path added to an SAP process definition that routes a work item back to an earlier step when a rejection or correction is required. Developers expand an existing process to include this flow so that rejected tasks can be reviewed and resubmitted without restarting the entire process from scratch. Custom variables defined at the global process level can be used to track and pass relevant state information — such as rejection reasons — across the rework steps.
